Concerned Community 4 Change is a group
of educators, activists, social workers, moms and dads, physicians and concerned citizens who have
come together to address the deeply disconcerting trends of
our youth. These trends include childhood obesity, academic failure and under achievement. The Mission
Our mission is to provide a mechanism for at-risk youth to make positive, healthy decisions for themselves.
Our vision is to engage our youth by providing programs that put positive principles into practice. By providing programs that build healthy minds, bodies and spirits we will produce well balanced adults that will be able to handle the challenges of today and tomorrow.

James Mcdougal, Executive Director
James Mcdougal is the Founder and Executive Director of Concerned Community 4 Change Sports Mentoring Program. After working 8 years to help implement the NYC recycling program he left NYC to attend Kennesaw State University in Georgia. In 2005, he returned to Brooklyn to face some of the worst conditions in his community such as youth violence, educational underachievement and obesity.
In January 2009 a group of educators, community activists, sports coaches and concerned parents came together to address some of the disconcerting conditions in our community. James is also a graduate of York College and Kennesaw State program of Pharmacy email@example.com
Lynne Jennings, Board Chairperson
Lynne is a New York State Licensed Physicians Assistant with
2o years of experience. Lynne's focus is on obesity and healthy lifestyle living. She is a graduate of Touro College.
Debbie Carrion, Director of Activities
Debbie is a certified Athletic Trainer. She has over 17 years of experience with YMCA's programming. She is a graduate of Baruch College and The New School for Social Research.
Sabrina Carter, Committee Chairperson
A Queens native who has been part of the NYC sports community since junior high school. She is a graduate of Concordia College and a former women's basketball assistant coach at Nicholls State University and The Borough of Manhattan Community College.
Rodney Carr, Director of Basketball/Special Events
Rodney is a native Brooklynite. With his many years of basketball coaching experience, he has brought a new excitement to our organization. He started the girls high school basketball tournament and a back to school event that provides students with free school supplies. He is presently coaching at Medgar Evers College.
La Toya Nicole Page, Soccer Coach
LaToya Nicole Page is our newest staff member. She is
a licensed real estate agent who will head our soccer program this spring 2016.
